SALTEE ISLAND WORKSHOP | SEABIRDS PHOTOGRAPHY
The Saltee Islands are located five kilometers off the south coast of Wexford County in Ireland. The set consists of two islands called Great Saltee and Little Saltee. The two islands have been uninhabited since the beginning of the 20th century and are a paradise for bird photography. A place that every photography lover has to visit at least once in his life. Where we can photograph gannets, razorbills, kittiwakes, oystercatchers and, of course, puffins.
WHAT DOES THE WORKSHOP INCLUDE?
The price is all included.
- Transfer from Dublin to Kilmore: rental vehicles driven by our guides from the Dublin airport to the accommodation.
- Boat trips and entry fees: To get to the island you have to take a boat that takes us from the coast of Ireland to the Saltee Islands.
- Accommodation in B&B in Kilmore.
- Meals: Breakfast will be held at the accommodation, lunch outside to make the most of daylight hours, and dinner will be done again at the accommodation.
- Photographic workshops: Indivualise theoretical classes will be given with the concepts that we will subsequently practice in the field.
WHAT DOES NOT INCLUDE THE WORKSHOP?
The only thing that is not included in the price are the flights, but from Nature Photo Tours we promise, if they wish, to help them manage them without incurring any extra cost.

WHO WILL BE THE GUIDE?
On this trip we are accompanied by our guides Antonio Caño and Víctor Ortega, a great connoisseur of the island.
Víctor has traveled on numerous occasions to the Saltee and in them he has taken spectacular images (those that illustrate this web post).
Víctor is a biologist and nature photographer, and has more than a decade of experience in the art of photographing birds. A fan of nature from a very young age. He currently works as a photographer in the European mink captive breeding project carried out by the Fieb Foundation and Life Lutreola.
