PHOTOGRAPHIC TRIP TO FINLAND

Some of the wildest places in Europe can be found in the boreal forests of Finland. Where species such as the brown bear or Capercaillie make these habitats a perfect location for nature photography.

This is the place where we take you on an adventure together with our guide Antonio Caño. In this expedition we will collaborate with the company KUUSAMO NATURE PHOTOGRAPHY and we will visit their photographic hides used by photographers of great prestige worldwide.

From the awaits we will be able to photograph different species, both birds and mammals, BROWN BEAR, BLACK GROUSE, CAPERCAILLE AND OSPREY. In addition to enjoying the landscapes of lakes and forests and the long spring evenings in the Scandinavian country.

Flights, but we can advise and even send information about the flights that our guides will use to reach the destination.

WHAT EQUIPMENT IS NECESSARY?

To make this trip it is essential to bring a reflex or mirrorless camera that allows you to program it manually. The ideal optics will be lenses of at least 200mm and a tripod to gain stability and do not worry about the weight because we are in the vehicle or hide at all times. We also recommend bringing a landscape lens.

If you do not have something from this equipment, do not worry, tell us in your reservation email and we will find a solution for you.

PLANNING

We have planned the perfect trip to enjoy all the fauna and not stop taking pictures. When we are far north we will have a few hours with an incredible light that will be very different from the time we are used to. The hides are perfectly conditioned for all the following circumstances

Day 1:

Arrival in Kuusamo
Entry into the brown bear hide in the afternoon

Day 2:

Entrance to the BLACK GROUSE Hide in his Lek
When it ends we go out for breakfast and rest
Theoretical classes
Entrance to the CAPERCAILLE hide at 6 p.m.

Day 3:

We wake up in CAPERCAILLE hide and see his Lek
When it ends, breakfast and rest during the day
Afternoon Osprey Session

Day 4:

Entrance to the BLACK GROUSE Hide in his Lek
Return to the airport
